Wilton Gray Satterthwaite

Wilton Gray Satterthwaite, 68, of Barnwell, SC passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Services will be held at a late date.

Born in Plymouth, NC, Wilton was a son of the late Asa Vance Satterthwaite and Ruth Sarah Louise Tetterton Satterthwaite. He enjoyed digging in the yard and doing yardwork, he also enjoyed playing on the computer. He started his career as a welder. Wilton loved to read the Bible.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years Sheila Dean Brabham Satterthwaite; three sons Tony Satterthwaite of Wagener, Justin (Brittany) Satterthwaite of Snelling and Kristopher Satterthwaite of Snelling; his sisters Louise Swanson, Sarah Ulloth, Gloria Thompson Radke and Betty Elizabeth Klug; a brother Asa Lee Satterthwaite; eight grandchildren Gatlin Gunter, Miranda Rogers, Toni Brooke Satterthwaite, Destiny Satterthwaite, Justin Satterthwaite, Jr., Ava Satterthwaite, Karson Workman, and Braxton Smith; four great grandchildren Lilly and Charli Gunter, Hayden Creech and Saylor Rodgers and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Michelle Satterthwaite; sisters Mary Virginia Satterthwaite, Emily Priscilla Brown, Martha Dare Thompson, Dinah Grace Creed and brothers Vance Satterthwaite, Russell Laurie Satterthwaite, Larry Omega Satterthwaite and Harry Omega Satterthwaite.
