Wayne Jowers

A Celebration of Life for Joe “Wayne” Jowers, 73, of Barnwell, SC will be held at twelve o’clock noon on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Shawn Hanks officiating and U.S. Marine honors accorded. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Wayne passed away at home on Monday, February 12, 2024.

Born in Barnwell, SC he was a son of the late Joe Albert Jowers and Sarah Knox Zorn Jowers and was married to Linda Jowers. He was a graduate of
Barnwell High School and was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Marines. Wayne spent most of his life hunting and working alongside his dad at Big Daddy’s Deer Processing.

Survivors include his daughter, Dezeray Deshawn Jowers-Wright (John David Curtis); a sister, Laura Ellen Jowers; his grandson, Joshua David Curtis; niece, Megan L Rattliff (Alec); nephew, Austin Ratliff and the extended Zorn and Jowers Families.
