Walter Daniel

Walter Allen Daniel, 65, of Williston, SC passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at One o'clock p.m.., Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, 170 Elko Street Williston, SC. His Christian Brother and Good friend, Fritz Ethridge officiating.

Born in Savannah, Ga, he was the son of the late W.S. Daniel and Mary Cox. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He formally worked at Monsanto and Swiss Krono and was a forklift driver at Kimberly Clark. He retired from the U.S. Army having served for more than 22 years. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years Diann Daniel; daughters Sara (Larry) Settle of Morristown, TN and Dona Corell of Barnwell; Grandchildren Gallagher Beatty, Ny'Asia Gonzales and Ramon Gonzales and Daughter- in - law Krystal Gonzales of Rock Hill; Sister Toni Duncan of Savannah, GA; Brothers Gordon Cox of Williston, Guy Cox and Gary Cox both of GA, Jim Cox of Alabama, and Jerry Cox of Florida. A number of nieces and nephew and his 4 fur babies. 

He was preceded in death by a son Frank Gonzales.
