Funeral Service for Virginia Lois Hutson Hutto Williams, 89, of Neeses will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church Neeses, SC with the Reverends Henry Cooper and Eileen Gunnells officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the church; burial will follow at the Springfield Cemetery with the Reverend Henry Chavis officiating. Ms. Virginia passed away at home on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be, Timothy Hutto, Dalton Hutto, William Hutto, Josh Doles, Brendon Doles and Andrew Halburnt.
Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Dale and Wayne Shepherd.
Born in Barnwell County, she was a daughter of the late Isiah Hutson and Rodell Gleaton Hutson and was first married to the late Earl Hutto and was the widow of Vernon Williams. Virginia loved the Lord with all of her heart and was a member of Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, Neeses. She retired as a seamstress and loved sewing and making quilts for her family and friends. She also loved cooking and enjoyed having her family over on Sundays after church for dinner.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley (C.L.) Salley of Springfield, SC; Connie (Dean) Gainey of Neeses, SC; grandchildren, Melissa, Timothy, Virginia, William, Regina, Christina, Rustie Lynne, Melinda, Daniel and Beth; 16 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Joanne Bell; daughters-in-law, Pam Hutto, Mary Hutto and Barbara Hutto and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Jimmie Hutto, William “Bird” Hutto, Billy Gene Hutto and John “Sammy” Hutto; grandsons, Jonathan Shugerts, John Barrett Hutto and Charles Earl Dale; a great grandson, Robert Shugerts; sister, Adell McKenna and her brothers, Isiah “Buster” Hutson, John Edward “J.E.” Hutson, Lynelle Hutson, Sumter Hutson, Vern Hutson and Woodrow Hutson.
