Vicki (Wiles) Toole

Funeral services for Vicki Lynn Wiles Toole, 77, of Springfield, SC will be held at four o’clock p.m., Monday, May 20, 2024 at Rocky Grove Baptist Church, Salley, SC with the Reverends John O’Cain and Henry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Salley Oakview Cemetery, 3071 Salley Rd., Salley SC.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Springfield Fire Department, P.O. Box 609 Springfield, SC 29146.  Vicki passed away at home on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Willie Wiles and Elizabeth Williams Yergason and was married to Boyce E. Toole for 56 years.  Vicki was a graduate of Springfield High School and then attended Palmer Business School.  She worked at The Bank of Springfield then she became a home health coordinator for Orangeburg County DHEC where she later retired.  Vicki was a long time member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church.   She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and enjoyed teaching her family how to “Shag”.

Survivors include her husband, Boyce, of the home; a daughter, Lynn Bradshaw of Oxonhill, MD; a son, Bubba (Julie) Toole of Springfield, SC; grandchildren, Brittany Dean, Arianna White, Sean Walling, Chandler (Kaytlen) Toole and Caity Toole; two great grandchildren, Jaden Walling and Christopher Dean; her sisters, Mary (Clyde) Davis, Kelsey (Kent) Kirkland, Kim (Steve) Cantrell; brothers, Elliott “Bubba” (Melanie) Wiles and Michael Wiles; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Byron Toole and a great-grandson, Mark Anthony Dean.
