Funeral services for Trina Lynn Edwards Reynolds, 72, of Barnwell, SC will be held at 2 o’clock p.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the Olar First Baptist Church with the Reverend Dean Deer officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Mrs. Trina passed away at home on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
Born in Granite City, Illinois she was a daughter of Betty Ann Turnbull Edwards and the late Donald Ray Edwards, Sr. and was married to William Monroe Reynolds, Sr. Trina loved spending time at the lake fishing and being with her friends. She was so selfless and always had a great sense of humor. She was very patriotic and loved the United States of America. She enjoyed listening to classic rock and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Trina was a breast cancer survivor of 20 years, she was a loving wife, wonderful momma and loved being a mimi to her grandkids.
In addition to her mother, Betty Ann Edwards of Barnwell and her loving husband of 54 years William Reynolds, Sr. she is survived by a daughter, Stephanie R. (Michael) Hutto; two sons, William Monroe “Billy” (Carla) Reynolds, Jr. and Robert Eugene “Bobby” (Staci) Reynolds, all of Barnwell; her grandchildren, Kirstin Lynn (Ben) Jacobson, Morgan Reynolds (Blake) Barnes, Dallas Hutto (Hunter) Grady, Ashley Karen Reynolds and Kody Austen Reynolds; 4 great-grandchildren, Kane Monroe Jacobson, Norah Elizabeth Barnes, Adalynn Reece Grady and Briggs Tilman Grady; a sister, Carol Edwards Summey of Barnwell; a brother, Donald Ray (Cindy) Edwards, Jr. of Reevesville; sisters-in-law, Lisa Edwards of Barnwell and Lynn (Buddy) Roumillat of Ladson, SC; brother-in-law, James Williams of Aiken, SC; her dear friend and sissy, Thoi Smoak and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray Edwards, Sr.; a sister, Barbara Edwards Williams; a brother, Timothy Michael “Tim” Edwards and a brother-in-law, Arlis (Faye) Reynolds.
The family wishes to thank the staff from Pruitt Home Health and Hospice and nurses Alexis, Kaylee, Robin and Kerri; and dear nieces Jenni Leach and Betty Kay Jones for all of their love, compassion and care shown to Trina during her time of illness.
