Timmy Wise

Funeral services for George Timothy “Timmy” Wise, Jr., 38, of Windsor, SC will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Windsor with the Reverend Brad Willis officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 2p.m. until the time of the service. Pallbearers will be Henry Woodward Sr., Shane Wise, Henry Woodward Jr., Earl Herron, Robert Proctor, Sr., Kenny Wise, Tim Rogers and James M. West, Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Shawn West, Harry Durham, Josh Scott, Chris Barton, Brandon Avery and Chris Roundtree.

Born in Augusta, GA. he was a son of Henry Darnell Woodward Sr. and Betty Jane Herron Woodward. Timmy was employed with SCDOT Wagener division as a heavy equipment operator.  He was a beloved son, husband and dad that loved spending time with his family and friends. Timmy enjoyed watching wrestling, being outdoors; especially riding his side by side and four-wheeler. He was very active with his son Shane and was involved in his boy scouts and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Windsor. 

Survivors include his parents, Henry and Betty Woodward; his wife, Angel Michelle West Wise; a son, Shane Robert Wise; two sisters, Nicole (Tim) Rogers of Graniteville and Gabrielle Woodward of Windsor; two brothers, Kenneth Wise (John Malady) of Aiken and Henry Woodward, Jr. of Windsor; his PaPa Harold Woodward; aunts, Cathy (Chris) Barton and Martha (Nathan) Young; uncles, Earl (Jennifer) Herron, Robert (Missy) Proctor, Sr., Lee (Linda) Woodward and James (Johnnie Sue) Woodward; a niece, Kailey Rogers and nephews, Kasen Rogers and Shawn West; his mother and father-in-law, Brenda and Bob Miknaitis; a brother-in-law, James (Ruth Ann) West and numerous cousins that he dearly loved.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Wallace and Jane Herron; paternal grandparents James and Margaret Woodward and a nephew Timothy J. Rogers.
