Mr. Thomas Barron Miller, age 91 of Smyrna, went peacefully to his heavenly home on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Tom was raised in Blackville, SC, and attended school there. He served two years in the Army then attended University of South Carolina. He graduated August 1959 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He began his career working at Lockheed, Marietta, GA, from 1959-1972. He left Lockheed and started his own business, Miller Communications in 1972, retiring in 1994. He was a faithful member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his granddaughter Alisa Ruth Miller. Surviving are his loving wife of 70 years Maxine Miller, children Wayne Miller (Roxanne), Gail Griffin (Rick), Brenda Howard (Robert), Philip Miller (Camille), grandchildren Natalie Alison (Jeremy), Nathan Griffin, Michael Miller (Debra), Jonathan Howard, Madeleine Miller, William Griffin, Rachel Howard, Christopher Howard (Camille), Sarah Howard, Linnea Miller, Zachary Griffin, Tobias Miller (Sally), Claire Howard, 7 great grandchildren, and many close extended family members.
