Theressa Lucille (Brunson) Smith

A Graveside Funeral Service for Theressa Lucille "Cootie" Folk Smith, 80, of Blackville, SC will be held two o’clock pm Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Barnwell Memory Gardens on Reynolds Road with the Reverend Ted Still officiating.  Theressa passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

Due to the current pandemic and the CDC regulations, social distancing and other guidelines will be in place; facemasks will be required.

Born in Jasper County she was a daughter of the late Charles F. Brunson and Amanda Hadwin Brunson. Theressa was first married to the late Sim Julius Folk and was the widow of R.L. Smith and for many years she worked as a seamstress for a number of manufacturing companies.

Survivors include her daughter Theressa Elizabeth Laurey of Blackville; sons Dennis James “Bogie” Folk (Pam) of Early Branch and Richard Julius “Hammer” Folk of Blackville; step-grandchildren Jessie, Jeannine and Jennifer.
