Funeral services for Theodore Franklin Hunt, 100, of Williston, SC will be held at three o’clock p.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church with Dr.
David Richardson and Reverend Steven Proctor officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery with U. S. Army Military Honors Accorded. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be given to Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, 857 Mt. Beulah Road, Windsor, SC 29856 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516. Mr. Hunt passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021.
Born in Tellico Plains, TN, he was a son of the late Clyde Elmer Hunt and Cordie McDaniel Hunt and was married to the late Ellavee Mary Patterson Hunt for 78 years. He was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. Mr. Hunt retired from DuPont as a crane operator, was a carpenter, and was a member of the Local # 470. He enjoyed photography and piddling in the garden. He was good with his hands and enjoyed trying to fix most anything. Mr. Hunt was a U. S. Army veteran having served in Germany during WWII.
Survivors include daughters, Jewell Keenan, Barbara (Dairl) Snider of Windsor, Betty Proctor of Williston, Linda (Casey) Proctor of Williston, Wilma (Steven) Berry of Lexington, Donna Lott of Williston; brothers Eugene (Maude) Hunt of Keithville, LA, Elmer (Treva) Hunt of Aurora, IL; grandchildren, Randy Keenan, Del Keenan, Kenneth (Pamela) Keenan, Gary (Donna) Snider, Deanna Proctor, Kim Randall, Wanda (Steven) Jeffcoat, Doyle (Cassie) Proctor, Robert (Missy) Proctor, Steven (Tracey) Proctor, Ryan (Kayla) Proctor, Robin (Alex) Hanna, Kevin Hanna, James Hutchinson, III, Tonia (Doug) Platt, Adam (Paige) Robinson. 32 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Gail Proctor, a grandson Tracy Snider and a grandson-in-law Joe Randall; three sisters Lelia Carver, Louise Wilson, Imogene Burris; a brother Willie Reed Hunt; sons-in-law Wallis Keenan, Allen Hutchinson, and Kelly Albert Robinson.
