Terry Gay Scott

Funeral Services for Terry Gay Scott, 64, of North Augusta, SC will be held at three o’clock p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Rentz officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the church. Memorial contributions may be sent to Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, Youth Fund, 856 Mt. Beulah Rd., Windsor, SC 29856. Terry passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Born in Fontana, CA, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Clinton Scott and Lola “Bula’ Cloud Scott. She was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church and previously worked as a Dental Assistant and in the Pharmacy for the Medical College of Georgia. She loved spending time with her family during the holidays especially Christmas and her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews will miss her dearly.

Survivors include her sister, Lola Rentz; two brothers, Lanny Dale Scott, and Tim Ray Scott; nieces and nephews, Jason (Kim) Rentz, Christy (Darrell) Craig, Casey Rentz, Michael Rentz, Michael (Ira) Scott, Mary Katherine (Curtis) Lands, Johnny (Stephanie) Scott, Katlyn Scott, Erin Scott, Monty Dean Layne, Kimberly Layne, Edward Dean Scott, Brian Scott and a number of great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Scott Layne; a brother, Kay Dean Scott and nephews, Jeff Scott and Troy Scott.
