Steve Kent

Jon Steven “Steve” Kent, 78, of Bamberg, SC passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.  Born in Battle Creek, MI, he was a son of the late John Dale Kent and Mary Marie Knauss Kent.  Steve was the owner and operator of Bamberg and Barnwell Memory Gardens.

 No formal services are planned at this time.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jerry Marie Talmage Kent of the home; his sons, Jon Steven (Dawn) Kent Jr. of IL, Jerry Lee Kent of MI, Jeffery Lynn Kent of FL, Robert Wayne Fletcher of Bamberg and R. James Fletcher of Cordova; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Marie Waffle of MI; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Chesley of Bamberg, and a number of nieces and nephews.
