Stanley Wilbur Aldrich

A Celebration of life service for Stanley Wilbur Aldrich, 59, of Springfield, SC will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Henry Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Stanley passed away at home on Thursday, January, 2, 2025.

The family would like to thank Dawn, Marie, Sierra, Kayla and Amedisys Hospice for the love and care that was shown to them during this difficult time.

Born in Columbia, SC he was the son of the late Edward Wilbur Aldrich and Judy Lou Chavis Aldrich and was married to Melody Gleaton Aldrich. Stanley went to school at H-K-T and was a farmer. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren. He loved working in his yard to keep it looking good.  

Survivors include his wife, Melody Aldrich; a daughter Brandy Ann Aldrich (Allen) of Barnwell; 2 sons, Matthew Oliver “Matt” (Ashley) Aldrich of Orangeburg and Nicholas Hunter “Nick” Aldrich of Springfield; his grandchildren, Aiden Braxton Aldrich, Carter Trotti, Beckham Hart Aldrich, Mary Helen Johnson, Reese Ann Johnson and Victoria Renee Johnson; a sister, Jane (David) Jones; his father-in-law, Thomas Lee Gleaton and a number of nieces and nephews.
