Sara Jane Bodiford

Funeral Services for Sara Jane Hutson Bodiford 68, of Healing Springs, S.C. will be held at three o’clock pm on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Double Pond Baptist Church Blackville, S.C. with Reverend Donnie Delk and Dr. Thomas Terry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Springfield Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the church. Sara passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Born in Barnwell County, SC she was a daughter of the late Lonell Hutson and Doris Williams Hutson.  She was married to the late Tommie Calhoun Bodiford for 45 years.  She was a member of Double Pond Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter Melessia Bodiford (Tony Jr. Zorn) of Healing Springs; sister Patsy (Marvin) Chavis of Blackville and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband she was proceeded in death by her daughter Angela Jane Bodiford and sister Betty Jean Hutson.
