Sammie Grubbs

A Celebration of Life service for Sammie Walker Grubbs, 67, of Barnwell, SC will be held at five o’clock p.m., Thursday, February 6, 2020 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with the Reverend Rommie Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from four p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Sammie passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020.

Born in Barnwell County, SC, he was a son of the late David Grubbs and Estelle Darnell Grubbs. He attended Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sister Barbara Ann G. Jones of Hilda; his brother Wayne (Bonnie) Grubbs of Barnwell and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Margie G. Joyner, Betty Angaline G. Still and Linda Grubbs.
