Ruth Zorn Ray

Graveside Funeral Services for Ruth Zorn Ray, 94, of the Holmans Bridge Community will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday December 4, 2018 at the Denmark Cemetery with the Reverend Matt Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Janet and Coy Cox in Denmark on McCain Drive. Memorials may be made to the Denmark Cemetery Fund P.O. Box 387, Denmark, SC 29042. Mrs. Ray passed away on Sunday, December 02, 2018.

Born in Bamberg County, SC she was a daughter of the late Herman Zorn and Mildred Lee Zorn and was married to the late Dick Ray. Mrs. Ray was a member of Denmark First Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughters, Verne Ray and Janet (Coy) Cox, all of Denmark; granddaughter, Amy (Kevin) Lawson; great grandchildren, Pate and Kole Lawson; a sister, Bet (Frank) Hunter of Clemson and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Ray and her brother Herman “Bunk” Zorn.
