Ronnie Wayne McCollum, 68, of North, SC passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Funeral services will be held at one o’clock p.m., Tuesday, May 13, in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC; burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m. Monday at the funeral home and all other times at the home of his daughter Tabitha at 701 Jones Bridge Rd., North, SC 29112. Ronnie passed away at home on Thursday May 8, 2025.
Born in Orangeburg County, SC, he was a son of the late Lucius “Louis” B. McCollum and Dorothy Laird McCollum. He worked and later retired from Amerigas after 40 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as scrolling FaceBook and shopping with Temu. Ronnie loved visiting the mountains, the lake and tinkering with his John Deere tractor.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Vicki Murphy; two daughters, Tabitha McCollum (Allen) of North, SC and Amanda (Bubba) Hutto of Springfield; his step-children, Carl Allen and Justin Allen; grandchildren, Christy (Hunter) Still, Dalton Hutto and his fiancé, Tori, Alexander Bailey, Abby Hutto and Alexis Bailey; great grandchildren, Braxton Hutto, Wylder Still and Brayden Hutto; a niece, Tammy McCollum; lifelong brothers, Louis (Jannie) Livingston and David (Anita) Jackson and he loved his fur-babies – his four legged companions, Ginger and Dottie.
