Robert Peeples, Jr.

Funeral services for Robert Hazel Peeples, Jr., 70, of Williston, SC will be held at two o’clock p.m., Monday, November 16, 2020 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Mark Watford officiating; burial will be in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery by the airport. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Robert passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020.

Born in Barnwell, SC he was a son of the late Robert Hazel Peeples, Sr. and Martha Zorn Peeples. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williston and served as a deacon. He retired from DuPont/SRNS and served in the Army National Guard. Robert was an enthusiastic Clemson Fan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking out with family and friends. He was a man of fun, jokes, and laughter. He kept smiles on people’s faces.

Survivors include Karen Graves of the home; children Robbie (Marie) Peeples of Barnwell, Jack (Letty Bland) Peeples of Allendale; his grandchildren Cody (Jennifer) Peeples, Dalton (Ashleigh) Peeples, Christian Peeples all of Barnwell, Zachary Harter of Beaufort, Elizabeth (Mitchell) Kirkman of Kentucky, Samantha Peeples, Harlee Hunter all of Troup, TX and Jesse Allen and Lillie Allen of Elko; great grandson Lane Wyatt Peeples of Barnwell; sisters Ruth (Bill) Bronson Peeples of Hilda, Callie Peeples (Allen Fields) of Trenton; brother-in-law Larry Still of Barnwell, step-mother Jeanette Peeples of Trenton; his little angel Ensley Carter Davis of Aiken; special brother Charles Perry Zorn of Barnwell; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Alice “Sissy” Still and a brother Henry Dale Peeples.
