Robert William (Bob) Augustine

Funeral services for Robert William “Bob” Augustine, 83, of Williston, SC will be held at five o’clock pm, Tuesday, August 27, 2019 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Keith Stewart officiating; burial will be in the Williston Cemetery with Military honors and Masonic rites accorded. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. The family has asked that memorials be given to the Williston Cemetery fund P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853 or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at (donate.lls.org). Bob passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019. The family would like to thank Becky Love and The Circle of Love for their care and compassion shown to them during this difficult time.

Born in Uniontown, PA., he was a son of the late Earl Augustine and Ruth Mae Layhue Augustine. Bob was a US Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Town of Williston where he worked as the Director of Public Works for many years. He was a member of the Williston United Methodist Church and Hope Masonic Lodge #126. Bob loved and enjoyed spending time with his family, enjoyed playing golf, watching western T.V., the Pittsburg Steelers, and listening to music and singing along.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-one years Ginger Trauschke Augustine of the home; daughters Cheryl (John) Tune, Lynn (Jeff) Pruitt; sons Bruiser (Esther) Augustine, Scott (Donna) Augustine, Robbie (Ann) Augustine; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; sisters Patty (Tim) Blevins, Terrie (Chuck) Miller; brothers Butch (Robin) Augustine, Dan (Debby) Augustine,  and a number of nieces and nephews.
