Riley Teal

A Graveside Funeral Service for Riley Duncan Teal, 91, of Beech Island, SC formerly of Williston, SC will be held at twelve o’clock noon on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Williston Cemetery with the Reverend Brian Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery on Wednesday. Due to the current pandemic and the CDC regulations, social distancing and other guidelines will be in place; facemasks are requested. The service will be live-streamed on our Official Folk Funeral Home - Live Stream Facebook page for those unable to attend. Mr. Teal passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021.

Born in Chesterfield County, SC, he was a son of the late Locke A. Teal Sr. and Mary Etta Teal and was first married to the late Dorathea Rowell Teal. He retired from E. I. DuPont as an Equipment Operator. He enjoyed talking government and debating politics; he also enjoyed visiting Edisto Beach.

Survivors include his loving wife Jeanette Woodward Teal; his son and daughter-in-law Randall “Randy” (Mary Chestine) Teal, Sr. of Williston; step-children Lynette (Billy) Jordan, Robin (Jeff) Arthurs, Eddie (Sharon) Woodward all of Beech Island and Susan (James) Thomas of Morganton, GA; his grandchildren Randall Duncan Teal, Jr., Kimberly Danean Teal, Wayron Rawl Kersey, Jr. and Michael Duncan Kikendall (Echo Stevens); great grandchild Jake Kikendall; 14 step-grandchildren, 29 step great grandchildren and 2 step great, great grandchildren; niece and nephews Margaret Freeman, James W. Tolson, Jr. and James Teal along with a number of other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Sandra Kay Teal Christopher; sisters Elizabeth T. Ackerman and Peggy T Simons; and brothers Locke A. Teal, Jr., Eugene Teal and Charles Allen Teal.
