James Phillip “Phil” Still, 50, of Williston, SC passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at twelve o’clock noon on Friday, June 27, 2025 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Ashely Howell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday, June 27th.
Born in Barnwell, SC, he was a son of James Harry “Tater” Still and the late Sandra Beatrice Boyer Still. He attended Hilda Southern Methodist Church and worked in construction. He loved to call the “Big Dog” radio station and talk with Rick. He also enjoyed playing the guitar.
In addition to his father, Tater Still, survivors include his daughter, Brittany Nicole Still and her mother, Lisa Grubbs Barajas; a granddaughter, Alaina Nicole Still all of Barnwell, SC; his sisters, Lisa Still Chavis Wood of Williston, SC, Cindy Kitchings of Aiken, SC and Cheryl (Christopher) Collins of Jonesboro, GA; a brother, David Ford of Trenton, SC; his loving friend, Bobbi Nelson and a number of nieces and nephews.
