Funeral services for Pearline Grubbs Grubbs, 68, of Blackville, SC will be held at four o’clock p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Faith Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Blackville, SC with the Reverend Rick Powell officiating; burial will follow in the Living Waters Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at two o’clock p.m., until the time of the funeral at the church on Sunday. Pearline passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020.
Born in Barnwell County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Charles Spurgeon Grubbs and Lerline Hutto Grubbs. She attended Faith Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her sons Jamie Gerald (Laura) Grubbs of Williston, Billy Joe Grubbs, William Anthony Grubbs both of Blackville; her loving companion Kenny Carroll; sisters Susan Williams of Williston, Margurita (Jimmy) Grubbs of Blackville; brothers Charles Edward (Donna Kay) Grubbs of Windsor, Donnie (Betty) Grubbs of Blackville; grandchildren Shawnah Banks Murdaugh, Raven Grubbs, Dana (Alex) Miller, Hayley Grubbs, Tyler Walls, Kinley Grubbs, Christal Chavis, Amanda (Timothy) Deaton; a great grandson Skylar Grubbs and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Gerald Grubbs; a daughter Angela Grubbs Owens; a brother Bobby Grubbs and a granddaughter Alicia Dyches.
