Paula (Newman) Sanders

Funeral services for Paula Newman Sanders, 61, of Williston, SC will be held at two o’clock p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2025 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with burial to follow in the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Adam, Jacob, and Joshua Gainey, Evan and Matthew Hutto and Baylee and Brandon Sanders. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Circle #100, Columbia, SC 29210. Paula passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

Born in Camden, SC she was a daughter of Patricia Catoe (Jerry) Flint; a step-mother; Linda Newman of Bethune SC and the late Nelson Newman, and  was a homemaker.

Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, Billy Sanders; a daughter, Baylee Sanders; a son, Brandon Sanders all of Williston, SC.  Her mother and father, Patricia and Jerry Flint of Williston, SC;   sisters, Deena R. Gainey  (Jason Ritter) of Williston, SC, Carla Hutto of Gilbert, SC; Melissa Curtis of Elgin, SC, Cathy Newman of Bethune, SC and Sandy Hunter of Bethune, SC and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Flint; a nephew, Andrew Hutto; her maternal grandparents, Paul and Elsie Catoe and paternal grandparents, William and Nannie Newman.
