Patricia (Tricia) (Goode) Keel

Patricia (Tricia) Goode Keel entered into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her family Thursday morning, May 1, 2025. Tricia is survived by her husband, Harold L. Keel of 47 years; her daughter Amanda K. Cobb and grandchildren Aden, Jax, and Mary Cohen; her daughter Caroline K. Younts (Jonathan) and grandchildren Makayla and Jack; her sister Linda G. Renew (Charles); her brother-in-law Mark A. Keel (Jeri); her brother-in-law, Bob Grimes; her many nephews and nieces; and her beloved Ishbibilies: Emily Collins, Frances Still, Sophie Bessinger, Patti Carter, and Jenny Mayo. She was preceded in death by her father, Owen K. Goode and mother, Thelma P. Goode; and her sister Joyce G. Grimes.

Tricia was a member of the Church of the Holy Apostles in Barnwell, SC. She was a graduate of Barnwell High School class of 1973. She was an Orangeburg Regional Hospital Nurse from 1974-76. She served in various nursing and hospital management roles for 37 years at Barnwell County Hospital. A ceremonial tribute honoring her many years of service will be performed at her funeral service by the Nurses Honor Guard of South Carolina.

To know Tricia was to be loved by Tricia for she genuinely never met a stranger. She will be fondly remembered for her selfless dedication to caring for several generations of Barnwell County residents. She truly was the hands and feet of Jesus to many in need. Tricia was full of fire and sassiness, cloaked in southern grace and hospitality. She was quick witted, mischievous, and easy to laugh. A playful tease with a glint in her eye was her love language to those who knew her best. She loved Jesus, her family, her friends, and she loved her community. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter and will be missed by all who were blessed to be loved by her.

The family will receive visitors at First Baptist Church in Barnwell, SC at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025. Service to follow at 2:30 PM.
