Patricia (Balchin) McDonald

Patricia Gail Balchin McDonald, 57, of Williston, SC passed away at home on Saturday, June 14, 2025. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at twelve o’clock noon on Saturday, June 21, 2025 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverends Charles “Chuck” McDonald and Jeff Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.

Born in Charleston, SC, she was a daughter of Brenda Boggs Balchin and the late Allen Balchin and was married to David Michael McDonald. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She worked as a CNA in Home Health Care for a number of years. She had a very calming personality and loved to hold people’s hands to make them feel better and to show them comfort.

Survivors include her mother, Brenda Balchin of Iva, SC; her husband, David Michael McDonald of the home; sons, Andrew LeRoy of Anderson, SC and John LeRoy of Texas; a sister, Janice Saxon of Iva, SC; grandchildren, Christian LeRoy, Spencer LeRoy and Aria LeRoy; father-in-law, Charles “Chuck” McDonald and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Allen Balchin, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Carol McDonald.
