Nell was devoted to her family and was blessed to share 65 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Walter O’Rear. She retired from Chem Nuclear after 32 years of dedicated service. In her retirement, she found great joy tending to her flowers and spending time with those she loved most. She especially cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild, who were the center of her life.
Survivors include husband, Walter O’Rear of Olar, SC of the home; her sons, Bert E. O’Rear of Welaka, FL, and Michael J. O’Rear of Olar, SC; two grandchildren, Wallace C.E. O’Rear and Caroline Mazyck-O’Rear.
In addition to her parents, Henry Clay Morris, Sr. and Eloise Collins Morris, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Elaine O’ Rear and a brother, Henry Clay Morris, Jr.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the many acts of kindness, prayers, and support shown during this time of bereavement.
