Murray Stanley

Blease Murray Stanley, 74, of Hilda, SC passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at eleven o’clock a.m., Thursday, June 4, 2026 in the Sandy Run Cemetery, Hampton, SC with the Reverend Timmy Gunnells officiating. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m., Wednesday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be given to Folk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853 to help with funeral expenses.

Born in Hampton, SC, he was a son of the late Colet Blease Stanley and Geneva Long Stanley. He was of the Christian Faith and previously worked at SRS, was a long distance driver for a number of years, and worked at Brubaker Dairy Farm. He retired after becoming disabled due to medical issues. He enjoyed fishing and loved to spend time with his family.

Survivors include his daughters, Cindy S. Still of Cope, SC; Lynnette (Todd) Carroll of Olar, SC, Leigh Stanley of Barnwell, SC Brandi (Josh) Croft of Barnwell, SC, and Sharon (Bilal) Khan of Villa Rica, GA;  a son, Allen Stanley of Springfield, SC; a brother, Willie Stanley of Williston, SC; 13 grandchildren, Christopher (Heather) Still, Michael Still (Starla Miller), Cody Still, Thomas Still, III, Taylor (Autumn) Still, Mya Stanley, Trevor Stanley, Matthew Croft, Bree Croft, Sara Dreistadt, Evan Dreistadt, Nathan Stanley and Ava Stanley along with 16 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Lynn Rose Stanley and Jeanette Stanley and his grandson, Noah Stanley.
