A Graveside funeral service for Minnie Agnes Odom Hutto, 87, of Hilda, SC will be held at one o’clock p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Barnwell Memory Gardens on Reynolds Road with the Reverend David Turner officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery on Tuesday. Due to the current pandemic and the CDC regulations, social distancing and other guidelines will be in place; facemasks are requested. The service will be live-streamed on our Official Folk Funeral Home - Live Stream Facebook page for those unable to attend. Mrs. Hutto passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021.
Born in Orangeburg County, SC she was a daughter of the late Walter Jackson Odom and Neola Sanford Odom and the step-daughter of the late Margaret Odom. She was first married to the late Robert Buist Hutto and was the widow of Jeter Hutto. She was a member of Hilda Southern Methodist Church, formerly worked at Shuron Corporation and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters Lynn Hutto of Williston and Linda Jo Hutto of North Charleston; sons Allen Buist “AB” Hutto of Williston, Daniel Bruce “Butch” (Peggy) Hutto of Hilda, Chuck Shannon Hutto of Hilda; sisters Patricia (Dale) Koop of Bluffton, Doris Odom Crosby of Walterboro and Beth (Mike) Creamer of Anderson; brother Gene Odom of Pelzer; sister-in-law Emily Odom; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers Steve Odom and Jackie Odom; daughter-in-law Shirley Young Hutto; one grandchild and 2 great grandchildren.
