Maxine Wilma (Tompkins) Peachey

Funeral services for Maxine Wilma Peachey, 93, of Williston, SC will be held at four o’clock p.m., Monday, July 5, 2021 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Jeremiah Land Officiating. Entombment will be held at Restlawn Cemetery in Port Charlotte, FL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Mrs. Maxine passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

Born in Lorain County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm G. Tompkins and Zella Louise MacDonald Tompkins and was married to the late William Rodney Richard Peachey. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and working puzzles with the grandchildren. Her family and friends are going to miss her apple and cherry pies as they were the best ever.

Survivors include 4 children, 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; two sisters Bernice Herman and Phyllis Glunt.

In addition to her husband, William Peachey, she was preceded in death by her sisters Dorothy Jaeger, Stella Reisinger, Nila Wharton and Alice Smith.
