Maxine (Fesik) Corley

A Memorial Service for Maxine Marguerite Fesik Corley, 83, of Williston, SC will be held at four o’clock p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with Dr. Stephen Burnette officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Mrs. Maxine passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022.

Born in Norwich, CT, she was a daughter of the late Maxim Jacob Fesik and Gertrude Marguerite “Peggy” Remisczwicz Fesik. She graduated from William Backus Hospital as a Registered Nurse and retired from the Barnwell County Developmental Center.

Survivors include her loving husband, Patrick Lane Corley, who she married on January 6, 1961; two daughters, Patricia Corley Metheny of Williston and Virginia Carol Corley (Mark) Burgess of Jacksonville, FL; a son, John Maxiemick; grandchildren, Matthew Thomas (Kami) Augustine, Casandra Kosnechski, Nicholas Gilder and Mirandie (Seth) Mathis; great grandchildren, Thomas B. Payne, Payton J. Payne, Jaxon Augustine, Nathaniel Augustine, and John Raymond Maxiemick and a grandson-in-law, Jimmy Brandon Payne.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas Matthew Fesik and a granddaughter, Lauren Augustine Payne.
