Mary Fern (Noland) Sweat

Mary Fern Noland Sweat, 60, of Williston, SC passed away at home on Monday, April 20, 2026.

Funeral services will be held eleven o’clock a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2026 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with the Reverend Charles Morris officiating; burial will follow in the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friend from six to eight p.m., Friday, April 24th in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC.

Born in Livonia, MI, she was a daughter of the late Ronald Melvin Noland, Sr. and Diana Sue Fair Noland and was married to Wade Alan Sweat, Jr. Mary was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and formerly worked at Carlyle Senior Care. Her greatest joy in life was her family, she was a loving wife, a devoted mama and a giving grandmamma to her grands and her great grands. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Alan Sweat, Jr.; her daughter, Erma Nichole “Nikki” Sweat of Williston, SC; a son, Ronnie Presley (Jenny) Sweat of Williston; grandchildren, Ansley Jade Sweat, Elizabeth Rose Collins, Lori Mae Beck, James Dean Collins, Jason Allen Aaron Beck, Abigail Nicole S. Jerkins, Austin Ryan Sweat, Ethan Tyler Sweat, Kaleb Alan Sweat, Wesley O’Neal Williams, Nicholas Lee Williams and Ashley Nevaeh Williams; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Jamey (Valerie) Noland of IL and Robert (Millie) Noland of MI and a brother-in-law Ringo (Jeannia) Sweat of Williston, SC.

She was preceded in death by a son Wade Aaron Sweat, III; a sister, Kimberly Ann Miller and a brother, Ronald Melvin Noland, Jr.
