Margie Ann Winkles

Margie Ann Winkles, 62, of Williston, SC passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at three p.m., Monday, March 25, 2024, at Folk Funeral Home in Williston, SC with Pastor Doug Blaikie presiding.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Circle #100, Columbia, SC 29210.  Margie was a daughter of Leonard Mathis and the late Marla Palmer Mathis. 

Margie loved spending time with her children and family, especially her grandchildren.  She was also lucky enough to find her best friends Tina and Patrick Minor.  She enjoyed the simple things in life; fishing, roses and coffee.  She loved her cat “Tater.”

Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer (Kevin) Carroll and Tammy (Jason) Ardis both of Williston; Grandchildren, Destiny, Skyla, Jacob, Layla, William and Novaleigh; great-grandchild Wren Rosàlynn; a brother, Lenny Mathis of Manning, SC.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her sister Lurilla Ungaro.
