Lynn (Sellers) Lyons

A Graveside Funeral Service for Jackie Lynn Sellers Lyons, 68 of Olar, SC will be held at one o’clock p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, 2607 Memorial Church Road, Olar, SC 29843 with the Reverend Charles Mosier officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery on Friday after the service. Lynn passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Lupus Research Alliance www.lupusresearch.org in memory of Lynn.

Born in Bamberg County, SC she was a daughter of the late Jack G. Sellers and Edna Elizabeth McCormick Sellers. Lynn was the loving wife of Timothy Terrell “Terry” Lyons for 49 years. She loved the Beach, enjoyed fishing with her husband and watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and she worked at Denmark Baptist Church Daycare for a number of years.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Lyons of the home; a daughter, Krystle (Jervey) Chitty of Cope, SC; her granddaughter, Braylen Lee Chitty and her sister, Wanda S. (Mike) Jennings of Olar, SC.
