A Memorial service for Louise Mundy “Aunt Lucy” Redd, 88, of Windsor, SC will be held at eleven o’clock a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2020 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with the Reverend Tim Webb officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday; burial will be in the Spring Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Due to the current pandemic and the CDC regulations, social distancing and other guidelines will be in place. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 200 Center Pointe Circle, Suite 100, Columbia, SC 29210 or the American Heart Fund, Memorial Tribute & Processing Center, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060. Mrs. Louise passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020.

Born in Aiken, SC, she was a daughter of the late Rison Brooker Mundy and Lula Mae Cain Mundy and was married to the late Ervin L. Redd. She was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, helped with Vacation Bible School, helped to serve in the fellowship hall, was a member of the Mission Team, the WMU, and retired from Owens Corning Figerglass.

Survivors include her daughter Janice R. (Murphy) Inabinet of Windsor and a sister Doris M. Yon of Williston, SC; many nieces and nephews, great and great-great whom she loved very much along with her church family. Thank you to all of the nurses and doctors at Aiken Regional and Cancer Center. God bless you all.

She was preceded in death by a son John Cary “Bubba” Redd and a granddaughter Brooke Scott.
