Lizzie Mae (Hutson) Lee

Funeral Service for Lizzie Mae Hutson Lee, 73, of Williston will be held at three o’clock p.m., Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Tom Baker officiating; burial will be in the Williston Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday.  Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Brodie Gantt, Jimmy Hutson, Rickey Hutson, Rusty Hutson and Ricky Stoker.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Promedica 706 Rice Ave., Union, SC 29379; formally Heartland Community Health Center.  The family would like to thank the Heartland Community Health Center for the love and care they gave Mae during her time with them.  Mae passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

Born in Aiken, SC, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Allen “Buster” Hutson Sr. and Georgia Lee Chapman Hutson.  She was married to the late Walter G. “Woo” Lee.  Mae worked for Southern Bell for many years as an operator, she was a devoted mother and homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter Elisa Dyan Lee of Aiken, SC; son William Allen Lee of Union, SC; brothers Woodrow Allen (Carol) Hutson Jr. of Aiken, SC, John Henry (Cindy) Hutson of Windsor, SC, and Ralph Durwood (Kay) Hutson of Lexington, SC; grandchildren Isaiah Lee and Mason Lee; and a number of nieces and nephews.
