Funeral services for Lisa Tarrance Bolen, 59, of Williston, SC will be held at three o’clock p.m., Sunday, August 6, 2023 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Dan Fogle officiating; burial will follow in the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Williston Cemetery, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853 or the American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Circle, #100 Columbia, SC 29210. Lisa passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
Born in Barnwell, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Lee Tarrance, Sr. and Jeneil Weimortz Tarrance and was formerly married to D. H. “Bubba” Bolen. She was a member of Rosemary Baptist Church and a graduate of USC-Aiken with a degree in Accounting.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Kayla and Jason Bowers of Aiken, SC and Brianna Weimortz; a brother, Lee Tarrance (Mona Krogh) and her daughter, Jordan all of Williston, SC; a sister, Julie Weimortz; her former mother-in-law, Dot Bolen; a number of cousins and her four-legged companions, Oppie and Ada and her bird, Maggie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving companion, Karl Phillips.
