Funeral services for Larry Benjamin “Bubba” Joyner, III, 19, of Olar, SC will be held at three o’clock p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2023 at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Mark Watford officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery by the airport. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Greg Goodwin, Brandon Kinard, Will Lott, Drake Rogers, Huston Rudd and Richie Wilson. Bubba passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
Born in Orangeburg County, SC he was a son of Michelle Lynn Fail Mansfield. He previously attended West Acres Baptist Church in Evans, GA and Seven Pines in Snelling SC. He enjoyed playing video games and recreational football and also played football for Barnwell Middle School. He enjoyed “Snapchatting”, fishing and riding four-wheelers. Bubba also loved all food and especially Dairy Queen.
Survivors include his mother, Michelle Lynn Fail Mansfield; a brother, Logan Lewis Joyner; his nephew, Nolan Still; his NaNa Christine Singletary of Barnwell, SC; his grandfather, Ronnie (Renée) Fail of Olar, SC; great-grandparents, Bobby (Rita) Fail of Olar, SC; his uncle, Dustin (Britt) Croft; a special Aunt Juliann and Uncle Doug Spires and their children, April (Clayton) Lariscy and Haley Spires all of Grovetown, GA; Aunt Terra “TayTay” (Brandon) Hall of Barnwell, SC; great uncles, Toby (Wanda) Singletary and Marion (Lisa) Singletary; cousins, Landon, Weston, and Hayden Croft and Jamie Milligan and a number of extended cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sydney Ann Joyner and great grandparents, Ted and Jo Singletary.
