Funeral services for Larry Watson Bellamy, 77, of Sheldon, SC will be held at one o’clock p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston; burial will be in the Barnwell United Methodist Church Cemetery, Barnwell, SC. Due to the current pandemic and the CDC regulations, social distancing and other guidelines will be in place; facemasks are required. Box 37, Sheldon, SC 29941. Larry passed away on January 11, 2021.
Larry was born in Rocky Mount, NC, son of the late Watson and Lillie Bell Keating Bellamy. He graduated from Berry College and attended Clemson University. His entire career was spent with CSX Transportation which he loved. Even after retirement, he formed Bellamy Rail Consulting Service and continued his work. He was a Mason and served in the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Nadia Diamond Bellamy of the home, a daughter, Rebecca Bellamy Hunt and son-in-law Timothy “Tim” Hunt, two grandsons, Timothy “Todd” Hunt, Jr. and Jacob Bellamy “Jake” Hunt all of Houston, Texas, and a sister Janet Bellamy Jackson of Florence, SC.
He was committed to his family in all things, was deeply loved and will be so terribly missed.
