Komphak Tauch

A Celebration of Life Service for Komphak Tauch, 72, of Springfield, SC will be held at ten o’clock a.m., Sunday, August 7, 2022 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with Sokhon Kem officiating. Komphak passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

Born in Krong Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia, he earned an Associate Degree in Auto Mechanics from Alameda Community College in Emeryville, CA. He was a self-employed, retired auto mechanic.

Survivors include the mother of his children Yim Hang; daughters Sophon Tauch of Springfield, Sophea (Tony Leson) Tauch of San Jose, CA, Sopars Mum (Anthony Hubbard) Tauch of Everette, WA; sons Vandy (Ly) Tauch of Emory Vale, CA, Seam Tauch of Jacksonville, FL and Sokhon (Susan) Kem of Blackville, SC; sister Chandy Mum Tauch of Cambodia; brother Sarai (Kim) Tauch of Cambodia; grandchildren Ruth Kem, Maria Kem, Jeshurun Kem, Isaac Kem, Everette Kem, Eliza Kem, Carolina Belle Kem, Alice Kem, Abram Jude Kem, Olivia Tauch Leson, Amelia Tauch Leson, Emily Tauch Leson, Ivan Tauch Leson, Summer Tauch Hubbard, Kai Tauch Hubbard, David Tauch, Jeffrey Tauch, Nikki Tauch, Tyler Tauch, Valyna Tauch, and Dru Tauch; two great grandchildren Noah Tauch and Nikko Tauch; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother So Bo, his father Peak Tauch, and a brother Sareth Tauch.
