Kenneth Carroll

A Graveside Funeral service for Kenneth Jacob Carroll, 78, of Long Branch, SC will be held at ten o’clock a.m., Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery by the airport with the Reverends Tom Baker and Jerry Fail officiating. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m. Friday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Memorial contributions may be given in Kenneth’s memory to Elko Baptist Church, P.O. Box 277, Elko, SC 29826. Due to the current pandemic and the CDC regulations, social distancing and other guidelines will be in place. The service will be live-streamed on our Official Folk Funeral Home - Live Stream Facebook page for those unable to attend. Kenneth passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.

Born in Barnwell County, SC, he was a son of the late Willie Samuel Carroll and Corrine Baltzigar Carroll. He was a member of Elko Baptist Church. Kenneth previously worked at Burney Chappell Peach Farm and at various other industries as a mechanic. He also enjoyed farming.

Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years Susan “Ada” Carroll of the home; his sons Kenneth “Ken” Jacob (Judy) Carroll of Long Branch, Robbie Dean Carroll of Barnwell and James “Craig” Carroll of Barnwell; sisters JoAnn (Frankie) Hair of Blackville, Daisy (Tommy) Prickett of Windsor, Linda (Hubert) Pickering of Long Branch and Shirley (Lester) Fail of Barnwell; brothers Gene (Helen) Carroll of Talbott, TN, J. S. Carroll of Long Branch; grandchildren Krista (Will) Rimes and Kayla Carroll.

He was preceded in death by a brother Willie Robert Carroll.

The family would like to thank Agape Hospice and the Visiting Nurses Association for all of the kindness and care that they have shown to Kenneth.
