Kendall McDonald Obituary

Funeral services for Kendall Dean McDonald, 63, of Barnwell, SC will be held at three o’clock p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2022 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Timmy Gunnells officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilda First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hilda First Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 145 Church St., Barnwell, SC 29812. Kendall passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022.

Born in Bamberg County, SC, he was a son of the late Jerold Reeves McDonald and Annie Mae Bessinger McDonald. He was a long distance truck driver, was a retired carpenter having worked at SRS, and was a member of the Carpenters Local Union # 283.

Survivors include his wife Geneva RaNae McDonald; daughters Jennifer (Steven) Priester of Rossville, GA and Ashley (Harrison) Fickling of Blackville; sons Jacob (Carolina) McDonald of Panama and Eric (Kim) McDonald of Rossville, GA; sisters Gail (Ray) Loeb of Hilda and Tina Lance of Williston; a brother Leonard (Karen) McDonald of Winston-Salem, NC; uncle Buddy (Beth) McDonald; grandchildren Gabriella Skye Garrick, Aiden Priester, Abby Priester, Jordan McDonald, Colie Fickling, Noah Fickling, Riley Moore, Matthew McDonald, Summer McDonald and Karoline McDonald; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins along with his four legged friend Flash.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin children Amber and Anthony McDonald; daughter Krystal Flynn Garrick, and a brother Elvis Reeves McDonald.
