Funeral services for June Still Renew, 82, of Yelm, WA formerly of the Long Branch Community will be held at three o’clock p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2021 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with her son the Reverend Philip Renew officiating; burial will follow in the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday. June passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021.
Born in Charleston, SC, she was a daughter of the late Walker Waite Still and Mary Way Still. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church where she previously played the piano, was a vocalist and taught Sunday School for many years until it closed then she attended True Faith Baptist Church. She lived in the Long Branch Community of Barnwell County for many, many years until recently she and her husband, Martin, were staying with their son and his family in Washington State. June enjoyed traveling, being on the road, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years Reverend Martin Bellinger Renew; her sons Louie (Jody) Renew of Yelm, WA, Daniel (Sherry) Renew of Toccoa, GA, Stephen (Terry) Renew of Lexington, SC and Philip (Elizabeth) Renew of Barnwell, SC; her sisters Shirley Mann of Freeport, FL, Amelia Goff of Eufaula, AL, and Miriam (Ricky) McCoy of Toccoa, GA; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild on the way and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a son Martin Bellinger Renew, Jr.
