Born in Columbia, SC on October 14, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Lennie Lee and Tinnie Irene Still. She was a dedicated member of Friendship Baptist Church and loved to share her love of Christ more than anything. She went on mission trips to Haiti and Honduras where she shared the word of Christ to others. She was also the founder of The Sunshine Prayer Group, which met every Wednesday for over 20 years. Juanita loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and it showed in her love for others. Her favorite hobby was gardening and sharing her flowers with everyone. One summer she gave out 150 arrangements of her own fresh cut flowers. Her love and passion for taking care of others brought her joy and she spent many years as a dedicated caregiver.
