Juanita (Steed) Crosby

Funeral services for Juanita Steed Crosby, 70, of Barnwell, SC will be held at three o’clock p.m., Monday, April, 10, 2023 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Dr. Bart Kelly and Reverend Jeremy Creech officiating; burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery by the airport. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Mrs. Juanita passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023.

Born in Allendale, SC, she was a daughter of the late Johnny Franklin Steed and Inez Stevenson Steed. She previously worked at J. P. Stevens and the Sara Lee Company. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Chris) Hutto of Barnwell, SC; her sisters, Kathleen Still of Barnwell, SC and Polly Sheppard of Williston; a brother, Johnny Steed of Barnwell; grandchildren, Valerie Joann Hutto and Miranda Kaylee Hutto; brother-in-law, Charles Cope and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Eliza Ellen Cope and Mary (Steve) Shealy; her brother, Jimmy (Louise) Steed; sister-in-law, Dorothy Steed; brothers-in-law, Hubert Still and James Sheppard.
