Johnny Carlisle Holden was born on July 3, 1959; to Arthur Carlisle Holden and the late Betty Marlene Renew Holden.  He was a dedicated member of Living Waters Fellowship in Blackville, SC.   Johnny loved his Lord and he loved to share his love of Christ to others.  He enjoyed sharing time with his church family, and looked forward to weekly Bible studies.

Johnny loved his family and enjoyed taking them to the lake for fishing and boating.  He enjoyed sharing special time with his granddaughter Sailor “Buddy”.

Johnny loved being outdoors golfing with his friends and family or riding his motorcycle.  He was an avid Clemson football fan (Go Tigers).

Johnny was a dedicated employee of SRNS, Aiken S.C. for many, many years. He loved people and never met a stranger.  He made numerous close friends over the years.  He touched so many hearts with his testimony.  It has been said that he could and would talk to anyone, which always started out with the famous “HEY CUZ”.

In the last two years, he fought a long hard battle with cancer all the while never complaining and always having a positive attitude.  He went to work every day up until two weeks ago.

Survivors include his wife Renee Hair Holden of the home; his daughter Brittany S. Holden (Jamie Towne) all of Barnwell; a son Brian (Christy) Smith of Lexington; his granddaughters “Buddy” Sailor L.
