John Wallace

John Edward Wallace, 75, of Williston, SC passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at eleven o’clock a.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Williston Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to Gentiva Hospice for the superior care and support shown to Mr. John.

Born in Dade County, FL, he was a son of the late Harben Wallace and Florence Conselyea Wallace and was married to the late Jenny Catoe Wallace for 41 years. He retired having worked as a plumber and a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed the time he got to spend in his workshop building bird houses and carving wood projects.

Survivors include his daughters, Tammy McDaniel of Haysville, NC and Andrea Wallace of Pisgah Forest, NC; a son, Wallace Van Scott; grandchildren, Curt, Dylan, Alyssa, Jake, Matthew, Aiden, Corbyn and Landon; a great grandson, Trace; sisters, Pat Purvis and Cecile Walker; sisters-in-law, Patricia Wallace and Patricia (Jerry) Flint along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Wallace.
