Jimmy Roger Hutto, 73, of Hilda, SC passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026. Funeral services will be held at twelve o’clock noon on Friday, July 3, 2026 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Chris Roberts officiating; burial will follow at the Hilda First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.

Born in Bamberg, SC he was a son of the late Charlie Hutto and Gertie Black Hutto and was married to Joyce Elizabeth Freeman Hutto. He previously worked at Milliken as a Maintenance Technician and previously served as a Firefighter with the Hilda Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hutto of Hilda, SC; his daughter, Melissa Hutto of Hilda, SC; a son, Wyman Darnell of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Micheal Hutto (Haley Grubbs) of Olar, SC, Corey Kennedy of Hilda, SC, Jessica Darnell of Barnwell, SC, Courtney Darnell of Williston, SC and Austin Hubbard of Blackville, SC; great grandchildren, Evelyn Hutto, Presten Rentz, Natalie Birt, Kylie Darnell, Aaron Owens, Navalee Taylor, Gabriel OBryant and Noah OBryant; a great, great granddaughter, Rosalin Rentz; dear friends and caregivers, Dwayne and Sabrina Grubbs along with a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Millie Jean (Bobby) Gatlin, Janie (Dean) Still and Mary Hutto Crider and his brothers, Sam Hutto, Charles Edward Hutto and David Hutto.
