Jeany Lee (Mitchell) Fields

Funeral Services for Jeany Lee Mitchell Fields, 62, of Salley, SC will be held two o’clock pm Monday, September 27, 2021 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with the Reverend Wendell Bruner officiating; burial will be at the Williston Cemetery. The family receive friends from four until six pm, Sunday at the funeral home. Jeany passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021.  

Born in Charleston, SC she was a daughter of the late Johnny B. Mitchell, Sr. and Catherine Chavis Mitchell. Jeany was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband Gerald Fields; daughters Lee Ann Fields of Salley, Salley Fields of Salley, Janet (Olivos) Fields of Orangeburg, Missie Fields of Salley, Loretta Fields of Salley; son Jonathan Fields of Salley; ten grandchildren Emily Chavis, Isabel Fields, Romeo Fields, Antonio Fields, Sarah Mendez, Patrick Olivos Fields, Roger Olivos Fields, Sabrina Olivos Fields, Jenni Olivos Fields, June Tice; sisters Lore Chavis of Barnwell, Maggie (Johnny) Williams of Williston, Daisy Tuten of Aiken; brother Johnny B. (Ruby) Mitchell, Jr. of Barnwell; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Margaret Robinson and Kathie Day.
