Funeral services for James Michael “Mickey” “Skidrow” Williamson, 60, of Salley, SC will be held at twelve noon on Saturday, February 1, 2020 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Sam Leonard officiating; burial will follow in the Springfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from eleven a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Folk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853. James passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020.
Born in Orangeburg County, SC, he was a son of the late Arnold “Skip” Steverson and Betty Smith Martin and was raised by Corky Bolin and the late James “Man” Bolin. He worked for Williams Logging as a logger and attended Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on cars and enjoyed grilling and spending time with his family and friends. He also loved going to the flea market and fishing.
Survivors include his special friend Kathy “Chump” Fulmer of North, SC; daughters Amanda (Bubba) Hutto of Springfield, Tabitha McCollum (Allen Bailey) of North; sisters Tina (David) Widener, Kim (Mike) Folk, Sherry (Ray) Scott; a brother Ronnie (Teresa) Toole; grandchildren Dalton, Christy and Abby Hutto, Alexander and Alexis Bailey; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister June McNutty and two brothers Neal Martin and Kenneth Martin.
