James Gregory Harrison

A Graveside funeral service for James Gregory Harrison, 55, of Cope, SC will be held three o’clock p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Old Union Cemetery, Cope, SC with the Reverend Marie Ray officiating. Memorials may be sent to Union United Methodist Church, 5326 Cope Rd., Cope, SC  29038. Greg passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020.

Born Orangeburg, SC he was a son of Carole Sanders Harrison and Wendel Rudy Harrison. Greg graduated Spartanburg High School and later graduated from Spartanburg Community College with an associate’s degree in Civil Engineering. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Cope. He enjoyed remodeling, painting and tinkering with most anything.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Philip Cope Harrison and his wife Dawn of Mt. Pleasant; two nieces Halsey and Emori Harrison; along with aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother Clifford Wilson Harrison.
